Engineered Hardwood Installation

Engineered hardwood flooring with a real timber wear layer
Engineered hardwood

Real wood, stable enough for a Florida slab.

Engineered hardwood is a real timber wear layer on a plywood or HDF core. It is the hardwood we will lay over concrete, and the one we recommend in rooms that sit against a bath or a slider.

Glue-down, float, or nail - we specify it from the manufacturer and the moisture reading, not from habit. A thick wear layer can be refinished later. A thin one cannot. We tell you which you are buying before you sign.

What you get

A proper install, not a drop-and-go.

The product is only half the floor. Prep, the right adhesive or underlayment, and clean work at the walls are what keep it looking right in a Tampa summer.

  • Real timber wear layer, stable core
  • The right hardwood over concrete slab
  • Glue-down, float or nail, specified per job
  • Wear-layer thickness explained before you buy
  • One crew from prep to walkthrough

FAQs

Yes. A coordinated layout can carry plank direction and visual flow between connected rooms while accounting for transitions and room dimensions.

The installation area is assessed first so uneven sections and surface concerns can be identified and addressed before flooring is installed.

Layout decisions consider room dimensions, sightlines, entry points, plank direction, and transitions to create a balanced finished appearance.

It can be a practical choice for busy areas when the flooring is properly selected, installed over a suitable surface, and cared for according to its requirements.

Professional installation involves surface preparation, layout planning, accurate fitting, consistent spacing, transition planning, and final quality checks.
